Ingredients:
1 large onion, thinly sliced;
A good pinch of salt;
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper;
2 cups all-purpose flour.
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and cayenne pepper, mixing well.
Pat dry the thinly sliced onions with a paper towel.
Place the onions in the bowl with the flour mixture and use your fingers to ensure the flour adheres well to the onions.
Heat a pan with enough oil to submerge the onions over medium heat.
Take the onion slices, give them a gentle shake to remove excess flour, and place them in the hot oil for frying.
Tip: Keep an eye on them. Since the onion slices are very thin, they can quickly reach the perfect crispiness. As soon as the onions turn golden brown, start removing them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
